Cooper & Smith Optometrists have been providing the Daring Downs area with comprehensive eye examinations for over 75 years. Since our inauguration we have placed a strong emphasis on both accurate refractive outcomes for our patients as well as thorough ocular health assessment.

Established in the 1950’s by Graham Todd. Goondiwindi was chosen as his country optometry practice so his dad, Fred, could enjoy pig shooting! Ross Cooper entered the business in years to come before joining with the Brennan and Smith Regional Eyes Team in 2025. A continuous line of professionals staying independent and local for over 75 years! Early detection of many eye conditions combined with prompt treatment, ensures better quality and duration of our patient’s vision. Since opening our doors in Goondiwindi we have had expansion across the region to allow accessibility for many patients in an ageing demographic.
